David Malt is President, Owner of several companies, including Malt Construction and Malt Realty and Development. David is aggressively engaged in the acquisition, development, construction, management, leasing, and sales of real estate in Florida and North Carolina. David’s companies have purchased and developed over $100 million worth of property, sold over 3,000 residences (homes, condos, and apartments) and managed over 2,000 rental and condominium units.

David is proficient in the evaluation of a potential site, the acquisition of the property, the required development entitlements, the management of the horizontal improvements, and the completion of the vertical building construction. David specializes in thoroughly reviewing the site and assets to ensure all improvements and operating costs are properly budgeted and executed. His experience as a developer and builder along with being the end user enables him to accurately prepare cost projections and operating budgets.

David is talented in his personnel supervision skills, and has managed over 200 employees at one time. His ability to work agreeably and professionally with others, including City/County building departments and banks, have led to his appointment as Chairman of the Ft. Myers Building and Oversight Committee for the City of Ft. Myers. As a civic leader, he currently sits on numerous boards, such as Chairman of the School Board for Bishop Verot Catholic High School.
